We’re looking for a Restaurant and Meeting & Events Manager for our pre-opening team to lead the day-to-day operation of our vibrant restaurant and meeting spaces. If you’re a hands-on hospitality pro with a flair for service, a head for operations, and a love for guest experience, this role is your opportunity to shape something special.

What’s Our Story?

Hotel Indigo is a lifestyle brand inspired by the character of our neighbourhoods. At our hotel, we celebrate the music, fashion, and culture of Shepherd’s Bush; and we are looking to reflect that same creativity and energy in our service. Whether it’s a working breakfast, an intimate dinner, or a buzzing event; we aim to make every moment personal and memorable.

Here’s what you can look forward to as our Restaurant & M&E Manager:

Annual salary: £39,800 - £44,800 (depending on experience)

  • Pension with company contributions
  • 50% discount in all our restaurants and Spa treatments across our properties
  • Team member and Friends & Family rates across our properties
  • Complimentary stay after passing probation
  • IHG Employee rate across 6000 hotels globally
  • Extensive discounts on our benefits platform
  • Healthcare cash plan
  • Interest-free season ticket loan
  • Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 online GP, mental health support, and wellbeing
  • World-class development programmes, apprenticeships, and growth opportunities
  • Bike to work scheme
  • Recommend a Friend incentive
  • Free meals on duty
  • Social squads and recognition schemes to make your voice heard and celebrate success

A Day in Your Neighbourhood

  • Own the floor: Oversee the seamless operation of our hotel restaurant and event spaces, leading the team to deliver high standards from breakfast through to evening service.
  • Deliver standout events: Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, private events, and functions; ensuring guest expectations are met and exceeded every time.
  • Drive the diary: Work closely with the Sales and Events team to maximise bookings, manage function sheets, and support pre- and post-event communications.
  • Lead your team: Recruit, train, and motivate a team across both outlets, fostering a culture of professionalism and creativity.
  • Maximise performance: Take ownership of labour costs, service quality, upselling initiatives, and stock control to ensure profitability without compromising on experience.
  • Be present: Build strong relationships with regular guests, corporate clients, and local partners. Be visible during service and ready to jump in when needed.
  • Refine and elevate: Ensure all SOPs are up to date, staff are trained to brand standards, and continuous improvement is part of the everyday routine.

What’s Your Story?

You’re both a doer and a leader, passionate about hospitality and proud to set the tone for others. You’ll thrive in this Restaurant and M&E Manager role if you bring:

  • Experience managing a busy restaurant or events space in a hotel or lifestyle venue
  • A hands-on leadership style and a genuine commitment to team development
  • Experience with event coordination and delivering excellent guest experiences
