Annual salary: £42,300 – 47,300 (dependent on experience)

  • Champion the culture: You’ll create an inclusive, welcoming environment that brings out the best in every team member.
  • Build the people plan: Partner with leadership to deliver strategies around recruitment, on boarding, engagement, retention, and development.
  • Stay compliant: Ensure policies, procedures, and employment law standards are not only met but lived out in practice.
  • Be the go-to: Act as a trusted advisor for managers and team members alike; creating an engaging environment as well as resolving issues with care, integrity, and discretion.
  • Listen and act: Support surveys and feedback initiatives, ensuring we listen to our people and create tangible improvements.
  • Celebrate success: Design initiatives that boost morale, recognition, and team spirit: from launch events to team incentives and social moments.


What’s Your Story?

You’re passionate about people and have the experience to lead with empathy and purpose. To shine in this People & Culture Manager role, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist, ideally within a hotel or service-led industry
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead on policy implementation, recruitment processes, and team development
  • Confidence in HR systems, employee data handling, and reporting
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a calm presence during high-pressure moments
  • Experience in pre-openings is a plus
