Hotel June is seeking a Director of Sales & Events for our ideally located 250-room re-imagined Hotel on the Westside with two restaurants, creative event venues, and a spectacular pool deck. Inspired by the soul and spirit of California, Scenic Route and Caravan Swim Club offer vibrant food and drink for hotel guests and the local community. Qualifications:
The Director of Sales will oversee the daily operations of
the Sales and Events Team, develop and implement sales strategies, including
the solicitation of business from all markets. Responsible for the management of all
aspects of Sales department, to include Meetings & Special Events. The ideal candidate will have minimum 10 years hospitality
related sales and events experience and previous Director of Sales experience
in a lifestyle market. Strong local market knowledge of the West Los
Angeles area, and a solid foundation in forecasting, prospecting, PMS, and
Delphi software are required. Strong leadership skills required to
oversee and drive the Sales Team. Excellent problem solving, analytical,
organizational, presentation, and communication skills are also required. The position has responsibility for the
execution of all property events with a seamless turnover from sales to
operations and back to sales where appropriate.
Education
B.A. Degree required.
