Sales and Events Coordinator


Description

Hotel June is seeking a Sales and Events Coordinator. This ideally located 250-room re-imagined Hotel on the Westside with two restaurants, creative event venues, and a spectacular pool deck is the flagship of a new thoughtful, accessible, lifestyle brand from Proper Hotels.


Job Overview 

· Perform general office duties to support Sales & Event efforts.

· Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

· Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).

· Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.

· Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to the brand.

· Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.

· Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).

· Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service. Help in other departments as needed.

· Highly motivated, organized, goal and results-oriented individual who thrives under pressure.

· Responds to inquiries and refers guest/clients to the appropriate Sales & Events Manager as necessary; ensures timely follow up.

· Facilitates tasks or requests as asked by guests

· Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

· 1-2 years administrative support experience

· Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate intuitive customer service and interpersonal skills

· Communicates clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions

· Has exceptional attention to detail, organizational, analytical and time management skills

· Multi-tasks and prioritizes in a fast-paced work environment.

· Is technologically savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Delphi, and HMS/ Infor Preferred.

 

Education

· High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
