Overnight Cleaner

Hotel June is seeking an Overnight Cleaner for our two signature outlets and bars. Inspired by the soul and spirit of California, Scenic Route and Caravan Swim Club offer vibrant food and drink for hotel guests and the local community. Hotel June has partnered with Hospitality guru, Steve Livigni of award-winning Scopa Italian Roots, Dama, Old Lightning and Black Market Liquor Bar to create new food and beverage concepts drawing inspiration along the coast from Baja, MX to Santa Barbara, CA. This ideally located 250-room re-imagined Hotel on the Westside with two restaurants, creative event venues, and a spectacular pool deck is the flagship of a new thoughtful, accessible, lifestyle brand from Proper Hotels.

Job Overview
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchens, pool deck and outlets of the hotel
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam
• Sweep and scrub floors
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
• Perform all duties in accordance with brand standards and with emphasis on meeting guest expectations
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the Chef or any other member of the management/supervisory team

Skills/Knowledge Required
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible
• Proactive attitude with strong organizational and time management skills
• Flexible schedule - Willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Work cohesively with Colleagues as part of a team
