About the Role – You Will:
Assist in preparing a range of Japanese and French dishes under the guidance of senior chefs
Rotate through different sections of the kitchen to develop a broad skill set
Maintain a clean and organised workstation with excellent hygiene practices
Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
Follow kitchen procedures and health & safety standards
Be proactive, reliable, and ready to take on new challenges
Learn and grow within a fast-paced, professional culinary environment
About You – You Will Have:
Some previous experience as a commis, with experience in Japanese cuisine
A strong interest in Japanese and French cooking techniques
A willingness to learn and improve every day
Good knife skills and attention to detail
A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
A passion for food, flavour, and hospitality
