Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to join the team in it's unique four-star hotel. 

You will report to the Accommodation Manager, Asst. Accommodation Manager and Accom. Supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient cleaning and servicing of the premises, including the bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas and toilets. Presenting a clean and fresh environment to the approved standards for the guests.

An Accommodation Assistant will be responsible for:

·       Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.

·       Beginning with cleaning departures first, followed by stay overs.

·       Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.

·       Ensuring carts are filled with correct supplies and transport cart to assigned area.

·       Replacing guest amenities and supplies in room.

·       Replacing dirty linen, and towels with clean items.

·       Making beds and folding towels.

·       Cleaning bathrooms, removing rubbish, dirty linen and room service items.

·       Checking all appliances are present in the room and in working order.

·       Straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances.

·       Dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings.

·       Vacuuming carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g. In guest rooms and hallways). 

·       Handing in all lost property at the end of the day, and notify management immediately of any theft.

·       Carrying out any other duties as may be requested by management from time to time. (e.g. Deep cleaning).

To be successful in the role of Accommodation Assistant we require: 

·        Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality, housekeeping, or accommodation services.

·        Strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.

·        Knowledge of health & safety regulations in hospitality.

·        A positive and professional attitude.

·        Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
