Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking an Accommodation Porter to join the team in it's unique four-star hotel. 

 You will report to the Accommodation Manager, Asst. Accommodation Manager and Accom. Supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient cleaning and servicing of the premises, including the bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas and toilets. Presenting a clean and fresh environment to the approved standards for the guests.

An Accommodation Porter will be responsible for:

·       Ensure carts are filled with correct supplies and transport cart to assigned area.

·       Returning carts to storage area and ensuring these are restocked.

·       Loading/unloading linen cages and sorting/counting all linens

·       Supporting the overall cleanliness of hotel back and front of house.

·       Reporting and where possible, acting on any incidents/accidents, or damage caused.

·       Supporting accommodation assistants on cleaning the rooms when necessary.

·       Handing in all lost property at the end of the day and notifying management immediately of any theft.

·       Carrying out any other duties as may be requested by management from time to time. (e.g. Deep cleaning).

To be successful in the role of Accommodation Porter we require: 

·        Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality, housekeeping, or accommodation services

·        Strong understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.

·        Knowledge of health & safety regulations in hospitality.

·        A positive and professional attitude.

·        Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
