We are currently seeking to fill the role of In Room Dining (Room Service) Manager.

Responsibilities (these are not all inclusive):
Day to day operations of room service department
Management of a staff of 20+/- employees
Liaison between restaurant and hotel
Scheduling of IRD department
Continually develop staff through the identification of ongoing training needs and the implementation of the necessary programs
Ensure the quality of all aspects of the department including the food, beverage, service and physical structure
Conduct daily walk through of the restaurant and department to determine areas which need attention or repair
**This position also opens the restaurant for breakfast service two times per week.**
Ideal Candidates would have the following prerequisites and characteristics:
2+ years’ experience working in a Fine Dining setting
1+ years’ experience in a Management role
Passionate about food & beverage
Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Detail oriented
Computer literacy to include: Aloha, Micros, Microsoft Office, OpenTable/Resy
Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent phone skills, customer service oriented and proactive
Able to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
Is friendly, engaging, gracious, has the ability to focus and connect with all guests at all levels and employees and exceed their expectations
Participates in teamwork and assists other departments when needed
Maintains a fun and enthusiastic attitude at all times
Possesses a proven track record for guest satisfaction
Experience in various capacities of restaurant staff (ie: server, host, bartender, busser, runner, etc.) strongly preferred
FULL AVAILABILITY- daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
