Jean-Georges Seeking Breakfast/Lunch In-Room Dining Attendant 
 
CANDIDATES  MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

Responsibilities (these are not all-inclusive):

-Provide excellent service at all times to all of our guests
-Possess extensive knowledge of food and beverage in order to assist guests with suggestions and upsell
-Be responsible for taking accurate F&B guests orders over the phone
-Demonstrate a pleasant telephone etiquette when taking orders and quoting the right timings for delivery
-Check accuracy of order input to ensure it is complete before sending to the kitchen
-Keep the office organized and daily paperwork filed and updated
-Ensure that the standards of service are adhered to and exceeded
-Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of In-Room Dining areas and servicing equipment
-Ensure station and table set-ups are complete
-Delivery of all F&B items to guests upon request
-Perform various side duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
-Carry out any additional tasks as instructed and by reasonable request from the leadership team.

Qualifications:

-Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in a luxury property
-Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
-Willing to work a flexible schedule including overnight and holidays.
-Must have great telephone skills.
-Have the ability to handle guest requests in a detailed manner.
-Must be able to work in a high pace and dynamic operation.

Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $18.00 per hour The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
