POSITION SUMMARY
Jean-Georges Management is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Coordinator to enhance our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the culinary world and skilled in creating and producing engaging, high-quality content. This role requires implementing advanced social media strategies to boost our online presence, engage our community, and increase brand loyalty and awareness.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Creation: Develop and produce compelling content that highlights our restaurant atmospheres, menus, and events. Ensure a consistent, branded voice across all platforms.
  • Strategy Implementation: Keep abreast of social media trends, integrating innovative ideas and technologies into our strategies. Execute campaigns that align with our brand goals, focusing on growth and engagement.
  • Engagement: Actively monitor, respond, and interact with followers across various platforms. Build relationships with customers and influencers to enhance community interaction and satisfaction.
  • Analytics: Measure and analyze the impact of social media campaigns to refine strategies. Regularly report on metrics such as engagement, growth, and ROI to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the marketing team and restaurant managers to ensure campaign and brand consistency. Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content and promotional strategies.

 KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Demonstrable experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Exceptional creative thinking and content production skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and tools (e.g., Hootsuite).
  • Basic skills in photography and video editing; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar.
  • Flexibility to attend events outside regular business hours as needed.
  • Vibrant and energetic, with a strong passion for the culinary world.
  • A self-motivated innovator eager to stay ahead of social media trends and technologies.
  • Customer-oriented, enjoying both online and in-person interaction.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours; Must be able to maintain a schedule availability flexible to the business demands.   
  • Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at times.
  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property.  Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. 
  • Climbing steps regularly 
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

COMPENSATION 

The base pay range for this position is $25/hour.  The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
