Job description
John Fraser Restaurants is hiring for an exciting new opening! For the past 10 years, Chef John Fraser has built a renowned restaurant group, garnishing industry wide recognition, multiple Michelin Stars and favorable accolades from the New York Times.
John Fraser Restaurants offers the opportunity to work with the finest ingredients alongside talented and innovative individuals within the industry.
John Fraser Restaurants seeks a Maitre D' to oversee guest experience for our Ticketed Performances and Dinners, Nightclub, and Events as part of a multi-outlet hospitality project in the heart of Times Square. Certification in NYC Food Protection License required.
Responsibilities include:
-Managing total guest experience as liaison between Guest Experience Manager and front door team
-Training and developing front door staff, including hosts and coat check
-Creating relationships with guests and serving as direct point of contact for further bookings and reservations, including at other JFRA outlets, and serving as liaison with hotel concierge
-Ensuring profitability through cost control, labor, and effective staff development
-Developing and engaging hourly and salaried employees
The ideal candidate is:
-Passionate, creative, and an effective communicator
-Experienced in coordinating front door service
-Organized and able to work independently
-Knowledgeable in service, food, beverage
-Passionate about service and engaging a staff
-Ambitious and growth-oriented in your own career
Preferred candidate possess prior experience in a nightclub setting.
