Jibs is open!! This is the summer job that you always wanted to last forever, and fortunately, it can. Jibs is a New England-style lobster shack (but really so much more) that just happens to be in one of the most iconic spots in New York's Hudson Yards, with views of the Vessel, the Hudson and plenty of outdoor seating. This will be one of the hottest new restaurants to open this year, and we want you to be a part of it. If you're a fan of incredible sunsets, lobster rolls, fried clams, oysters, steamers, fries and ice cream, look no further. We're hiring for all positions - cooks, servers, bussers, managers, bartenders, hosts - and are looking for experienced, smart, dedicated individuals to join our team.


The Beverage Manager supervises the daily operations of the bar and sommelier team members. Responsibilities include training, management of beverage inventory and pars and being of great support to staff while in service. The Beverage Manager implements and maintains a service and management philosophy that assists in exceeding guests expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Implements and directs the beverage program at Jibs
  • Manages the beverage team: hires, assigns, trains, motivates, evaluates and terminates as necessary
  • Forecasts and analysis of beverage sales, manages a budget and evaluates the effectiveness of systems
  • Establishes vendor relationships and maintains professional rapport with beverage distribution companies, independent breweries and relevant vineyards.
  • Collaborates with the Executive Chef and General manager to plan menu items and pairings
  • Communicates with all departments to always be aware of product needs and objectives
  • Oversees beverage inventory and monitors shipments, valuation, and margin control
  • Creates and manages product listings including roll-outs of new products and phase-outs of current products
  • Teaches beverage classes to employees
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned
