Crew Team Members

GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Performs a variety of duties related to the preparation for, and execution of, making great submarine sandwiches, and various other food products for sale and consumption by customers. In addition to serving as a submarine sandwich and food preparer, the Team Member is generally responsible to perform the following:
The preparation of Quality Food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications
Provide friendly service
Maintain a clean store and workplace
Maintain a culture of friendliness, positivity and energy

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the satisfactory accomplishment of the following essential duties:
Maintain excellence in customer relations:
Through congenial, knowledgeable, and helpful behavior.
Keeping food preparation area, seating area and restrooms in a spotlessly clean, fully stocked and organized condition at all times.
Participate in all Team member ongoing education (JM Learning Management System among other methods).
Maintain a clean, neat and respectful appearance in accordance with company policy on such appearances.
Maintain a spirit and attitude in yourself which provides quality service at all times.
All standard operating procedures and policies as directed must be adhered to.
Adhere to all Handbook Policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Training, Knowledge, Experience & Physical Capabilities:
Considerable skill and knowledge in the art and process of Team Members relations; cooperative problem solving;
Experience & Ability to communicate effectively; make basic decisions where established procedures do not always apply;

Physical Requirements:
Incumbent of the position performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, all generally involving moderate muscular strain in addition to seeing, hearing, and talking. Safely using all store food preparation equipment for long periods with the required application of eye, hand and finger dexterity. Must be able to lift and carry up to at least fifty (50) pounds unassisted. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, discriminating thinking and creative problem solving.
