Just Salad is seeking a facilities and maintenance professional that will join our team. Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Associate will manage day-to-day maintenance tasks across all Just Salad locations, on a variety of maintenance projects. In line with Just Salad’s mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible, you will also support initiatives to reduce Just Salad’s environmental footprint. The Facilities Associate is expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with all locations. 

Reports to: Facilities Manager 

Facilities Associate Responsibilities: 

• Light construction work and facilities repairs consisting of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, framing, sheetrock, and tile work. 
• Completing basic restaurant equipment repairs. 
• Responding to emergency calls, including, but not limited to sanitary drain cleaning, false fire alarms, and critical equipment failing. 
• Support initiatives to reduce Just Salad’s environmental footprint. 

Facilities Associate Requirements: 

• Communicate well and understand English directions and instructions. 
• Must be able to follow instructions, complete the projects on time, work independently and well with others. 
• Have a working knowledge of small hand tools and light power tools. 
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, or ability to be trained on these skills. 
• Basic knowledge Microsoft word (word, excel, email). Bilingual (Spanish + English) a plus (not required). 
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. 
• Must be able to walk, stand, reach, and crawl around tight spaces.
