Just Salad is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and motivated candidate with a strong ability to problem-solve and a willingness to continuously learn. The IT intern will report to the Director of Field Tech + IT Operations and serve as a key resource for all IT-related queries at the user level across 90+ Locations (NYC, FL, CHI, NJ, PA) and Corporate (50+ members). 

This position is on site in our NYC office with some field work required

Reports to: Director of Field Tech & IT Ops 

Fall/Winter 2025 Information Technology Field Intern Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to staff and on hardware and software-related issues 
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software 
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues 
• Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance 
• Provide training and support to team members on the use of computer systems 
• Perform system backups and maintain accurate records 
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems 
• Organization of new equipment and existing inventory 
• Assist with new store opening installations 
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems 
• 60-70% travel across NYC 

Fall/Winter 2025 Information Technology Field Intern Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or in progress with anticipated graduation 
• Knowledge of computer systems and software/AV 
• Knowledge of network and system security 
• Familiarity with hardware and software installation 
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 
• Strong communication and customer service skills 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team 
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology   

Time Commitment & Compensation: 

• Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
• Weekly Stipend Pay ($400-$600 pending on experience)
• Free lunch while working
• Sept 22, 2025 - Dec. 12, 2025 (12 weeks)
