Just Salad is looking for a Part-Time Copywriter to join our Marketing Team for an ongoing engagement. In this role, you'll own the craft of compelling content across all of our marketing channels — bringing our bold, fresh brand voice to life everywhere our guests encounter us. We believe great creative work thrives on real-time collaboration and being immersed in the brand, so we're looking for someone who's energized by a hands-on, in-person team environment. In line with Just Salad’s mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible, you will also support initiatives to reduce Just Salad’s environmental footprint.

Location: Hybrid — In our NYC office Mon–Thu, remote Fridays

Hours: 20 hours/week
Responsibilities:
Copywriting
Create compelling messaging for campaigns, product launches, and general brand updates.
Write long- and short-form copy across a variety of channels, including email, website, digital advertising, out-of-home, and store signage.
Own the creative process and pitch new directions for copy — bringing original ideas and executional confidence to every brief.
Maintain a clear, consistent, and energetic brand voice across all touchpoints.
Create, edit, and proofread copy to ensure accurate spelling, grammar, formatting, clarity, and legal compliance.
Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and brand leads in-office to bring campaigns to life.
Participate in creative reviews, brainstorms, and real-time feedback sessions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
2–3 years of copywriting experience for a consumer-facing brand; restaurant or food & beverage experience strongly preferred.
Excellent creative writing skills with a proven ability to uphold brand tone of voice across a wide variety of mediums. Be prepared to share examples of your work.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, in-office environment with a high-volume workload and short turnaround times.
