Kāio is a contemporary live-fire Mediterranean and Levantine restaurant at The Whiteley in Bayswater, London. At its heart is an open tabun oven and charcoal grill, where seasonal vegetables, seafood and carefully sourced meats are transformed by heat, smoke and flame.
Bold yet refined, the menu combines vibrant ingredients, subtle spice and unexpected flavour pairings with a generous, modern approach to dining. The restaurant brings together an atmospheric dining room, a circular cocktail bar, a secluded terrace and intimate private dining spaces.
Designed as both a neighbourhood favourite and a destination, Kāio offers premium dining without pretension: warm, sociable and unhurried, with understated service, live jazz and a genuine sense of gathering around the fire in the heart of London
