WE ARE LOOKING FOR: ASSISTANT MANAGER, Boca Raton
Some things you'll be doing:
Developing FOH staff (hiring, training, disciplining)
Scheduling staff; ensuring floor is appropriately staffed each night
Working closely with chefs; act as liaison to accomplish BOH's pursuit of serving delicious food
Managing administrative side of restaurant
Overseeing all events at the restaurant
Ensuring that guests enjoy the KAPOW! experience
Being a positive role model & leader for your support team
Skills & Requirements:
3+ years of restaurant management experience
Strong leadership skills
Ability to lead a team into battle and still earn their respect.
Strong food and beverage knowledge
Strong understanding of financials, food costs, labor models and pretty much everything needed to know to keep the doors open and the restaurant profitable.
Excel & Word like a whiz.
Exceptional service and floor skills
Experience with both special and private dining events a plus!
High volume, fast-paced restaurant experience
