KERB Events Limited is a joint venture with Compass Group UK. As part of this partnership, KERB Events Limited will become the sole F&B provider for this high-profile performance venue in central London, looking after all public-facing catering as well as internal hospitality and commercial events.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Stock Control Supervisor , you will be reporting to our Goods-in Lead and will be accountable for the maintenance of the Cellar department and Stores rooms at the venue including the implementation and compliance of stock control procedures, line cleaning management, deployment and training of cellar staff as well as stock rotation as well as the maintenance of disposables and chemicals stocks
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Suppliers and Purchasing
Build relationships with partners and suppliers
Complete all food, beverage, disposable and chemical orders from the Teams
Preparing venue stock for key calendar dates (Seasonal, school holidays)
Ordering samples from suppliers
Stores and Facilities
Check all orders on arrival, ensuring the goods meet the legal Food safety requirements and order to invoice
Keep control of stock rooms (organisation, tidy up, par levels)
Ensure there is a robust stock rotation system in place
Manage uniform stock levels
Oversee and order all office and stationery suppliers
Stock
Oversee monthly stock takes
Liaise with Bar Metrics on their stock take
Complete all stock reports
Preparing stock levels and store rooms for peak and off peak periods
Financial
Work Closely with the Finance Business Partner and Accounts Assistant ensuring the completion of:
Checking invoices for correct pricing/products
Processing invoices daily, and communicating to Managers/Exec ChefFinance Business Partner any discrepancies
Processing transfers daily
Create Par levels with Management teams for all outlets whilst working with Sales mix data
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
At least 2 years experience of working in a similar role and ready to hit the ground running
Exceptional communication, both verbal and written. It is important that you are able to provide support and leadership to the team whilst being confident to follow up on deadlines in an effective way.
Being able to manage your own workload in addition to supervising and supporting the team around you is key.
Having and creating clear processes to ensure deadlines are met and control processes are always in place.
Awareness of COSHH
Level 3 Food Hygiene
Knowledge of EPOS and procurement systems (Desirable)
