The Dishwasher is
responsible for providing the restaurant with clean and sanitized utensils,
plate ware, glassware, and equipment and is a crucial cornerstone to the
operation.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Ensures dishes are sanitized and available as needed
- Sets up dish machine in the AM and closes machine in
the PM according to company procedures
- Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of dish
machine
- Washes plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and
kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning
- procedures
- Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift
- Complete any other task given with enthusiasm, dedication,
and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a fast-paced working environment
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to
60 lbs. throughout entire shift and place these items on high and low
shelves in storerooms, walk-ins, and freezers numerous times throughout
the shift
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for
periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun, and positive attitude
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and
establish priorities
- Able to interact with the
public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
