Job description

RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR POSITION SUMMARY:

A Restaurant Supervisor with The ONE Group is responsible for providing support to all staff and supervising the restaurant operations in the absence of and in addition to the Management Team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Opening and closing restaurant procedures.
· Opening and closing cash outs.
· Ensure Guest satisfaction.
· Assist with seat assignments and maintaining flow of service.
· Ensure side work is complete and the restaurant is up to company standards prior to the start of service.
· Work with 3 party vendors to purchase beer, wine & spirits.
· Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain beer, spirits & wine pars.
· Assist with taking guest orders and expediting in the kitchen when necessary.
· Address customer concerns and escalates them to management if necessary.
· Assist with maintaining appropriate staffing levels throughout the duration of service.

QUALIFICATIONS/PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· A natural leader who has strong influence and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to follow company recipes & standards, as well as train others.
· Must be self-disciplined and reliable and have a guest fist mentality.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
· Previous serving and/or bartending experience in an upscale lounge or busy restaurant.
· Micros POS, Microsoft Office and OpenTable knowledge is a PLUS.
· Previous cash handling experience.
