The busser is an important part of our team and helps to bring efficiency, cleanliness, and organization to the dining room operation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
(but not limited to):
- Guest first focus, delivering exceptional guest service
is a top-priority.
- Teamwork, time management, multitasking, and menu
knowledge
- Prepare and set up expediter station
for service
- Communicate with server to
ensure efficient service
- Assist other service staff in
their tasks when necessary, in setting up restaurant, cleaning restaurant,
bussing tables, running food, taking food orders, making cocktails,
serving guests, assisting host staff, and opening and serving wine, when
needed
- Clean tables and pre-bus
dishes, flatware, glassware, and refuse to keep a clean setting and allow
for quick table turnover in between guests.
Job Requirements:
- Work experience in high volume or fast casual dining
restaurant environment preferred
- Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a
friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for
periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a fun and positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the
ability to speak and write in English
- Be able to lift more than 20 lbs. for
long periods and walk, twist, crouch, and/or maneuver while carrying 20 lbs.
or more for periods of extended time.
