Description
Saucier:
It is the Saucier’s primary responsibility to prepare the highest quality food consistently and effectively. As a Saucier, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of food produced in our kitchen and ultimately the overall experience extended to our guests.
Key Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
• Performs food preparation according to recipes or instructions and must efficiently cook sauces, fish, vegetables, soups
and other hot food products
• Cutting, peeling, chopping, and slicing fruits and vegetables
• Carves and displays meats, vegetables, fruits, and salads
• Maintains cleanliness of facilities
• Complies with standard food handling and sanitation procedures
Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of all kitchen equipment, small or large scale
• Prior experience working in high volume restaurant environment preferred
• Experienced knife handling skills
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities even when they change on a constant basis
