We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Acorn kitchen team and assist the chefs in the everyday running of the department & to achieve and maintain the Acorn’s 2 rosette standard of cuisine. As the Chef de Partie your role will include working in all areas of the kitchen –and the ideal candidate to have a focus and passion in Pastry, as well as contributing to the menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, innovate and career minded chef to gain experience in all areas of the kitchen with mentoring given from our Head chef & Senior sous chef.

Size of Team: 4 

Location: Evershot, Dorset

Employment type: Full- time

Working pattern: Shift work / Monday to Sunday / 5 days per week with 2 days off / rotas are done on a weekly basis.

Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum (including service charge)

Key Responsibilities as a Chef de Partie:

  • To inform the Head Chef and Sous Chef of any stores that need ordering.
  • To improve where possible the standard of food and hygiene.
  • To serve breakfast when requested on rota.
  • To assist in menu ideas with the kitchen team.
  • To help in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Ability to run the section as designated by the chef in charge.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-quality or luxury hospitality setting.
  • A genuine passion for food and presentation, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in every dish.
  • A strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures, with relevant certifications being an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, ensuring service runs smoothly even during busy periods.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business and team.
