La Palapa, authentic Mexican hot spot is now seeking a talented and responsible prep cook, taco maker and guacamole chef for our popular restaurant! We are also hiring for our new taco bar space at Gotham West Market.
Locations are East Village, Midtown Grand Central and Midtown West/Hell's Kitchen
We seek a hospitality driven individual with some culinary experience.La Palapa combines authentic and exciting Mexican cuisine with a festive bar and a warm and friendly atmosphere.La Palapa combines authentic and exciting Mexican cuisine with a festive bar and a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Qualified Prep candidates will have/be:
** Hospitality minded and a Team Player - you should be ready to jump in help wherever needed
** NYC DOH Certification is a PLUS
** Some culinary experience (culinary school ok)
** Weekend evenings and some mornings available
