La Rampa is a Cuban inspired bar & restaurant that is an homage to the decadent history of Havana, when the rich and famous flocked to the city in search of a good time. Located in central London, minutes from Soho, Oxford Circus and Fitzrovia, La Rampa will deliver a high-quality food and drink offering with a convivial, fun atmosphere in a design led environment.

MJMK operates some of London’s most exciting restaurant concepts including KOL (Marylebone), Casa do Frango (London Bridge & Shoreditch), Vinegar Yard (London Bridge) and the newly opened La Rampa (Oxford Circus); we have an exciting and ambitious growth plan over the near future including restaurants with industry legends like Nuno Mendes and up and coming stars like John Chantarasak (AngloThai). What We Are Looking For - Assistant General Manager

 ·       A hands-on, AGM, a natural leader who can inspire and support a large Front of House team

·       Somebody who can confidently run the day-to-day operations of the restaurant

·       A manager who is responsible for restaurant financials, recruitment and health and safety

·       2 years previous experience as a Restaurant Manager is essential

·       An enthusiastic and proactive individual responsible for staff training and development

·       A passion for food, wine and service

·       To be able to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail and communication skills

·       Strong command of English language

 Working Week:

 This role is based at La Rampa with 5 out of 7 days on a shift basis.

 Salary:

 From £38 - £40K + per year, depending on experience.

Benefits (Sites Salaried):

-        Excellent, competitive salary

-        Up to £1000 employee referral scheme (split between employee and referee)

-        25% staff dining discount across all our sites

-        Access to a dedicated Hospitality Action Employee Assistance Programme

-        28 days holiday per annum increasing by 1 day per year of service worked

After 1 years’ service:

-        Enhanced maternity (90% for 12 weeks instead of 6) & paternity pay (90% for 2 weeks instead of £145 per week)

-        Enhanced sick pay, up to 1 full weeks’ pay

After 5 years’ service:

-        Enhanced pension plan (total of 10%, so the company pays additional 2%)

-        Sabbatical for a month with two weeks paid by MJMK
