Line Cook /Brunch Cook (Lower East Side) annual raises
FAST, RELIABLE, WORK WELL WITH OTHERS, PREPS ON THE DOWN TIME, DELEGATES TASKS AND DETAIL ORIENTED. Must be able to work days and nights.
• Prepare food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
• Properly measure and assemble ingredients required for preparing the standard recipes.
• Clean/organize/maintain walk-in refrigerator, reach-in refrigerator, prep, and dry storage area.
• Maintain prep area in a clean, sanitary and safe manner.
• Rotate product according to "First In, First Out" to maintain shelf-life standards.
• Ensure meals completed thoroughly, professionally and with care in a timely manner.
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
