Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Pastry Cook/Bread Baker to join our exceptional culinary team.

You will have the opportunity to work with renowned Pastry Chef Salvatore Martone and will work with the Pastry Chef in production and service and be exposed to variety of cooking techniques and excellent ingredients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversees assigned areas of pastry production and works service.
  • Execute recipes, maintain kitchen equipment, and always be on time
  • Use working knowledge of basic pastry techniques; scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, finishing, etc.
  • Assist in the production of a dynamic pastry program for the restaurants and bakery including seasonal specials.
  • A bread baker will be involved in the production of a variety of traditional, gluten-free, and modern bread items for our restaurants.        

Your Qualifications:  We seek individuals who pursue this career as a passion and a profession.

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience professional cooking experience in restaurant or establishment of similar caliber.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent level of education, required (Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English. 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule. (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
