Reporting to the Director of Operations, we are looking for an experienced Events Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery of events across the business.
This is a varied, hands-on role, requiring someone equally comfortable delivering a sophisticated corporate function within a luxury hotel environment as they are a high-volume entertainment event involving production, AV and multiple operational teams.
You will take the events from pre-event planning through to live delivery and post-event review, working collaboratively with all teams across the business to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, lead and coordinate the operation delivery of events across the hotel, ranging from corporate functions and private dining to entertainment-led and high-volume events.
- Translate confirmed bookings into detailed operational plans, run sheets, floorplans, timelines and event briefs.
- Work collaboratively with all teams across the business to coordinate every aspect of event delivery.
- Coordinate event production requirements, including AV, lighting, sound, entertainment equipment and external suppliers where required.
- Oversee event set-up, live execution and breakdown, maintaining oversight of service delivery, guest flow, timings and operational requirements.
- Act as the key operational point of contact during events, responding to changing requirements and resolving issues as they arise.
- Ensure events are delivered in accordance with company standards, licensing legislation, health and safety requirements and security procedures.
About YouWe're looking for someone with:- A valid Personal Licence under the Licencing Act 2003.
- Proven events operations experience within a luxury hotel, premium events venue, lifestyle hospitality or similarly complex environment.
- Experience delivering a broad range of events, including corporate functions, private events and high-volume or entertainment-led events.
- Practical experience of event production, AV, lighting, sound and external production partners.
- Strong organisational, communication and live-event management skills.
- A hands-on collaborative leadership style and a calm professional approach under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with events requirements.
