We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our Culinary Team. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency are maintained across all service periods. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider Kitchen Team, you will support the delivery of outstanding culinary experiences whilst contributing to a culture of excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
  • Support the Head Chef in delivering menu items across all service periods, including breakfast, à la carte dining, in-room dining, special events and private functions.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency, quality and attention to detail at all times.
  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences through creativity, precision and excellent execution.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with recipe specifications, brand standards and guest expectations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance.
  • Maintain safe, clean and organised work areas, ensuring all equipment is used and maintained correctly.
  • Monitor stock levels, support stock control processes and minimise waste through effective storage and rotation procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Kitchen Team to ensure seamless service delivery and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and responsible kitchen practices in line with The BoTree's values and commitments.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork and continuous learning within the kitchen.
About You

You will have experience within a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-quality restaurant, and understand the important role that exceptional food plays in creating memorable guest experiences.

Passionate about food and hospitality, you will take pride in delivering consistently high standards, maintaining attention to detail and supporting a positive and collaborative team culture.

You bring energy, professionalism and a willingness to learn and develop, contributing to a culture where both guests and team members can flourish.

We're looking for someone with:
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a quality hospitality environment.
  • Strong culinary skills and a commitment to quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, allergen awareness and kitchen operations.
  • A positive, professional and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to sustainability and responsible hospitality.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and operational demands.
What We Offer
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Dedicated employee assistance programme through Health Assured.
  • ‘Stream’ financial wellbeing programme.
  • Complimentary overnight stay (including dinner and breakfast) at one of our hotels to celebrate your work anniversary.
  • An extra day’s holiday on your birthday.
  • Hilton Go Travel Programme for Team Members and Family and Friends.
  • Recommend a friend bonus up to £750.
  • 28 days holiday per year, including public and bank holidays, rising to 33 days with annual increments.
