Located in the heart of the Financial District of NY, Le District, a 30,000 sq. ft. French marketplace with a 6,000 sq. ft. outdoor dining terrace with a Hudson River view is becoming an icon of gastronomy in the New York scene. With a central wine bar, a half-dozen gourmet food stations offering everything from French cheeses to freshly baked baguettes and brioches, a brasserie, a patisserie, and much more, Le District brings a bit of France to the FIDI.

We are looking for highly motivated, high energy individuals with a natural talent for enjoying the fine art of hospitality and providing exceptional service to join our team as a Shucker.
Essential functions:
• Open oysters and clams quickly,
• Build plateaus with beautiful display,
• Cook lobsters, langoustines, shrimps, mussels and make court bouillon,
• Prepare sauces for station and salsa for mussels,
• Clean station, oysters, clams and lobsters,
• Set up and breakdown station.
