Description
Have you found your calling when talking about a great bottle of wine? Do you love taking someone on a journey to find their next favorite bottle or glass? Vinotopia is on the hunt for passionate and talented wine professionals for our concept in Legacy Food Hall in Plano, Texas. Vinotopia is a new brand of wine shop/wine bar that reinvents the category by offering every wine in inventory by the glass. At Vinotopia guests can sip before cellaring.
Our Wine Sales Associates & Sommeliers:
- Possess a passion for connecting guests with their new favorite wines
- Cultivate an environment that encourages wine exploration and growth
- Know the wines we carry like the back of their hands and live for educating others
- Recommend the perfect wines for the occasion, both at Vinotopia and for guests to take home
- Create regular guests who join our wine club and come back often
- Inspire their teammates to ask them for help
- Understand the balance of great service, great knowledge and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum Level One (Intro) CMS or WSET certification or equivalent certification, or work experience and knowledge
- Restaurant, retail wine or wine sales experience a plus
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs
- Maintain a current TABC Certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service
