Legacy Hall is an innovative, European-style food hall complemented with the best elements of a beer garden, craft brewery and live entertainment venue. The three-story, 55,000+-square-foot space features 20 curated fast casual eateries and 5 full-service bars offering cuisine and flavors from around the world. Unlawful Assembly Brewing Co., a craft brewery and taproom, occupies the third floor and focuses on brewing with unexpected, fresh ingredients. The Box Garden is the Hall’s expansive outdoor entertainment venue, where guests can enjoy live music, movies, sports-watching parties and much more.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Legacy Food Hall; ensure a strong focus on Guest and Staff member satisfaction. Lead and hold staff accountable, attain hospitality, sales and profit objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality food, beverage, service, cleanliness and sanitation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSBILITIES:
§ Ensure only the highest quality products are served and they meet each Guest’s expectations.
§ Ensure a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training.
§ Ensure all productivity and quality standards are maintained.
§ Understand, comply with, and enforce:
§ All Company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
§ All federal/state/local laws and ordinances.
§ Assist with the development, performance, coaching, and training of Staff Members.
§ Responsible for reporting any Staff Member issues to management.
§ Lead front of house operations.
§ Perform opening and closing responsibilities and assigning duties to Staff Members, and including overseeing bar set up and conducting a walk-through of venue.
§ Lead and manage successful, quality shifts by consistently utilizing systems and tools.
§ Oversee labor control and assigning duties to Staff Members.
§ Conduct inventory on a consistent basis
§ Ensure overall Guest and Staff Member satisfaction.
§ Communicate and establish rapport with Guests.
§ Engage with Guest to ensure Guest satisfaction and retention through table visits.
§ Accountable for all facets of service, production, and quality controls.
§ Responsible for comping and/or discounting Guest checks when applicable.
§ Adhere to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
§ Understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program; report any accidents.
§ Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by General Manager
General Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
● 4+ Years of Experience in food and beverage management role in multi-unit setting.
● College Degree Preferred
● Bar Management Experience is a Plus
● Excellent reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.
● Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
● Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
● Excellent judgment and decision making abilities.
● Health permit/food safety and Alcohol Awareness. Staff Member is required to obtain cards individually and provide proof of possession prior to first day of employment subject to local laws.
