Le Jardinier is a collaborative culinary experience crafted by the Michelin-starred chef Alain Verzeroli and global hospitality group The Bastion Collection. A sought-after culinary destination for locals and visitors alike, the One Michelin Star Le Jardinier Houston celebrates seasonality with dishes that encapsulate the land’s rich offerings on every plate, reflecting and paying tribute to the rhythm of nature.<br><br>Le Jardinier is situated in the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building, where its floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the lush Isamu Noguchi-designed Cullen Sculpture Garden. Drawing inspiration from nature, the New York-based Steven Harris Architects-designed dining room features plush, sage carpet; veneer walls of vintage limba wood; and a ceiling installation of Noguchi’s Akari lanterns. The dining room is anchored by a vivid wall tapestry commissioned by the Museum from renowned Houston-based artist Trenton Doyle Hancock. The statement piece – titled Color Flash for Char and Chew, Paris Texas in Seventy-Two – pays homage to the four seasons of the year and the seasonality in Le Jardinier’s cuisine.<br><br>Le Jardinier at MFAH is led by executive chef Felipe Botero and pastry chef Tiffani Ann Gkaris, under the leadership of Verzeroli and The Bastion Collection’s executive pastry chef, Salvatore Martone.
