A bit about what you will be doing:
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Head Chef ready to lead not only one of the newest restaurants in the D&D London group but also one of the leading restaurants in the exceptional Birmingham restaurant scene. This role requires a dynamic leader who can innovate and elevate our food offerings, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. You will lead from the front, running the pass and inspiring the brigade.
As the driving force behind our kitchen, you'll bring a creative flair to our menu, using only the finest ingredients. But it's not just about the food – you'll also need a keen eye for the bottom line, optimizing profits through astute financial management.
You will be responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety and food hygiene, managing GP, P&L and all other forecasting and stock management. Knowledge of Adaco and Fourth Hospitality is desirable, but full training will be given.
A little insight to the expectations and responsibilities:
• Uphold exceptional standards and meticulous attention to detail.
• Innovate and curate menus for the restaurant and food offerings.
• Lead the kitchen brigade, ensuring smooth operations and leading by example.
• Collaborate on the creation and implementation of F&B strategies.
• Manage kitchen budgets, payroll, margins, and all financial aspects.
• Nurture and develop the brigade through training and mentorship.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety and health standards.
• Bring previous experience as a Senior Chef in a Hotel or high-volume restaurant.
• Proactively solicit menu feedback, adapting offerings as needed.
• Demonstrate resilience, ambition, and drive to contribute to the restaurant's success.
