Head Chef Designate

Description

We are an award-winning business who pride ourselves in offering an eclectic range of innovative, fresh, and seasonal menus that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry leading environment.  We run friendly, welcoming, and positive kitchens with high standards always striving to be the best we can be.

Our Head Chef Designate will be covering the Bristol, Wilts, Gloucs, Somerset areas.

The growth of Butcombe will see the creation of further Head Chef roles in the very near future.  We are looking for talented Chefs to work alongside and support our existing team before taking on their own kitchen.

Therefore, we are looking for a Designate Head Chef to join our family.

What’s in it for you?

  • The chance to work for an award-winning business.  We have won the Best Food offer (2019 & 2020) and Best Managed Pub Company (2021) at The UK Publican Awards plus further menu development awards. You will be cooking some of the best and most innovative pub food in the industry.
  • A competitive salary plus an equal share of great tips and 75% off food on shift.  Travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed if your role requires you to travel further afield.
  • The opportunity to work for a diverse company and gain experience in a range of kitchens and menus.  We take a collaborative approach to menu development, giving you autonomy over specials and events in your business.
  • Access to industry leading training and development.  We offer bespoke training plans as part of our ‘Pillars of Progression’ programme.
  • We offer additional support and coaching from our executive chef team.
  • A business who cares about you.  We are ambassadors for the Burnt Chef Project fighting the stigma of mental health and working with them to train and support our teams.   We also offer an Employee Assistance Program that is there 24/7 to provide you with support.
  • You will work with some of the best locally sourced produce and ingredients.
  • We will back with you the tools you need to do a great job and have invested significantly in our kitchens.

·       Staff parties, events, training courses, great supplier and staff discounts, and much more!
