Lobster Place was founded in 1974 when Rod & Joan MacGregor were amongst the first to bring live lobster from the docks of Maine to the New York City restaurant trade. In the 5 decades since, Lobster Place has expanded in every way. We now serve a full line of fresh, live, and frozen seafood as well as the carefully curated line of extraordinary specialty foods from our merger with Gourmet Cargo. We are proud to service hundreds of restaurants, caterers, cruise ships, hotels & supermarkets in NYC and the tri-state area.
