Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in Brooklyn, New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park, and in 2010, Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in the manufacturing of amusement rides.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide excellent drinks recommendations to our guests while enhancing the guest customer service experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Our Bartenders are energic, and knowledgeable, understand customer service in the Hospitality industry and have proven experience mixing drinks, pairing drinks, and making recommendations to our guests.
Job Requirements:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy and using POS systems
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus/but not required.
- Proficiency in communicating with guests in English
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
