Lure Fishbar New York is hiring for Full-Time or Part-Time Host and Part-Time Office Manager
-One year of host experience in fine casual dining or fine dining.
-Open availability.
-A guest-first approach to hospitality.
-The ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
-A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
-Experience with OpenTable.
The ideal Host candidate will be able to:
-Interact with the restaurant guests, fellow staff members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner.
-Oversee the dining room and make it a warm and welcoming place.
-Ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience.
-Actively take and process reservations.
-Answer incoming calls and questions.
-Assist in coordinating the activities of dining room personnel to provide fast, friendly service to guests.
-Available to work nights and Weekends.
The ideal office manager candidate will have the following:
-Experience using Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Excel)
-Experience with Adobe InDesign
-Exemplary communication skills
*Willing to provide training for the right candidate*
The ideal office manager candidate will be able to:
-Respond to emails, take phone calls and assist guests
-Make reservations and control the flow of the restaurant
-Log beverage invoices and navigate Bevager (training provided)
-Edit menus in inDesign for print and online using BentoBox
-Be proactive about contacting various support channels when problems arise
-Aid managers with ad hoc duties
The office manager position is a fairly intense role that requires both patience and reliability. Applications for solely the office manager position will be accepted as well.
