EXPERIENCED BARTENDER
for High-Volume, Upscale NYC Restaurant

About
We are a very busy and extremely popular restaurant in NYC, known for excellence in service, food, and hospitality. We are seeking to expand our team with professional, reliable, career-minded bartenders who can meet the demands of our high-volume environment. 

This is not a learning-on-the-job opportunity. We are looking for serious hospitality professionals who are ready to hit the ground running and contribute meaningfully to a high-functioning team. 

We believe in leading by example, providing clear communication, and offering the tools and structure you need to succeed. You'll be supported by a present and engaged management team that values professionalism, accountability, and respect. 

Qualifications:
-Weekday nights and full weekend availability required
-A minimum of two year experience working as a bartender/mixologist in an upscale bar/lounge or fine dining restaurant with an intensive craft cocktail program.
-A minimum one year experience in New York City hospitality
***Must have experience with high volume***  
-Extensive knowledge of cocktails, mixology, wine and spirits, and a passion to learn more.
-An unparalleled commitment to hospitality and customer service.
-The ability to multitask.
-NYC TIPS Certification Required
-Experience with Symphony is a plus, but not necessary

Duties
-Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to restaurant standards.
-Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wine, and cocktail pairings to confidently make recommendations to guests.
-Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to bar guests and diners.
-Anticipate guest needs, accommodate special requests, and resolve issues with a service-first mindset.
-Build rapport with regular clientele while maintaining fine dining etiquette and service standards.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the shift.
-Ensure all bar tools, glassware, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
-Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols in compliance with NYC regulations.
