Job Overview
The Busser will work with servers to set tables, deliver requested items, remove used dishes, and practice good table maintenance. You will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by keeping the dining area clean and serving food in a timely and accurate manner.
You should be highly motivated, energetic and committed to a high level of guest satisfaction. You should be comfortable in a fast paced environment, professional and dependable.
Responsibilities and Duties
● Prepare dining areas before guests are seated, including setting silverware, napkins, tableware and condiments
● Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
● Clean and reset tables after guests leave
● Act as the contact point between Front of House and Back of the House staff
● Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
● Deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables rapidly and accurately
● Inform restaurant staff about customer feedback or requests (asking for the check etc)
Requirements
● At least 6 months experience in a high volume restaurant
● Excellent communication skills, able to multitask and the desire to work with and learn from an amazing team
● You must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 20 pounds, and be available to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays
● Must work well under pressure, be punctual and professional and be excited to join a team of coworkers dedicated to detail
● Must have experience, a positive attitude, be punctual and be a team player
● Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
● Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long periods
● Must have a current food handlers card, or able to obtain one
