The Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day physical upkeep of The Maggiore Group's restaurant locations and warehouse. This role handles routine repairs and light maintenance directly, manages the transport of supplies and equipment between the warehouse and each restaurant, and serves as the primary point of contact for coordinating and directing outside tradesmen (plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other contractors) on major repair and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on, high-trust role requiring reliability, sound judgment, and the ability to represent the company professionally when working with vendors and contractors.
Job Tasks Repairs & Maintenance• Perform routine and minor repairs across all locations (e.g., fixtures, hardware, minor plumbing, minor electrical, doors, small equipment issues)
• Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs before they become urgent
• Maintain basic maintenance tools and supplies; keep an inventory of commonly needed parts
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled (filter changes, lubrication, hardware checks, etc.)
Logistics & Delivery• Drive company vehicle to transport supplies, equipment, and materials between the warehouse and restaurant locations
• Manage pickup and delivery scheduling to minimize disruption to restaurant operations
• Maintain vehicle in safe, clean operating condition and report any vehicle issues promptly
• Track and log deliveries/transfers as required
Vendor & Contractor Coordination• Serve as the on-site point of contact when major repairs exceed the scope of routine maintenance
• Source, schedule, and direct licensed tradesmen (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc.) for larger repair and installation projects
• Obtain and compare quotes from contractors when directed by leadership
• Supervise contractor work on-site to confirm scope is completed correctly and on schedule
• Communicate project status, delays, and issues to the Director of Strategic Initiatives
Administrative• Document completed repairs, ongoing issues, and contractor work (photos, notes, basic records)
• Flag recurring or costly maintenance issues that may indicate a larger underlying problem
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and any applicable codes across locations
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs outside of standard hours as needed
