Private Event Server/Bartender

Server/Bartender:

As a caterer for private events and exclusive parties you will be the face of hospitality for Maiden Lane. The variety of events and new venues provide constant interest and open the door for you to experience many different styles of service, places, and people. Requirements:
-Knowledge of general service and catering procedures, including storage, sanitation and safety
-Attention to detail, anticipating guest needs
-Knowledge of table service techniques and ability to apply them
-Upholds punctuality, personal hygiene, and cleanliness
-Dependable with proven ability to work effectively with others in a team
-Physically able, with the ability to bend, kneel, stoop, twist, squat, walk, and stand for long periods at a time, 4 - 6 hours or more
-Tray service of food and beverage
-Lift 30-50lbs safely when needed
-Work responsibly with alcoholic beverages
-Genuinely hospitable disposition

Service Skills:
-Friendly smile and proactive attitude
-Knowledge of the trade and service styles
-Wine and Cocktail knowledge/experience
-Flexibility and accommodation in regards to needs from the client and on-site captains/management
-Dedication to the business of people and career growth goals
-Self-motivation with ability to work as a team
