Family owned and operated for over 50 years, Mamoun’s Falafel is the oldest falafel restaurant in NYC and one of the first Middle Eastern establishments in the country.

We are looking for Line Cooks to join our team.  Our kitchen is the engine that drives our operations.  Our line cooks handle all major aspects of our food preparation, including completing our daily food prep, cooking our food to order, and assembling our food orders.

• Great Pay – our pay rates start at $16 per hour PLUS an extra $1-$3 per hour in tips! 

• $200 Signing Bonus – receive $100 after your first 45 days (based on at least 100 total hours worked) and an additional $100 after 90 days (based on at least 200 total hours worked).  (Only available for first time hires.)

• Work Anniversary Bonus!  Paid each year on your anniversary.

Job Requirements

• Positive and friendly attitude
• Ability to speak, see, hear, read, and write
• Ability to multi-task (perform multiple functions at the same time)
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs and perform other diverse physical tasks as needed
• Develop thorough knowledge of our menu and recipes (taught during training)
• Execute standard operating procedures for all kitchen positions (taught during training)
• Execute opening and closing checklists (taught during training)
