Masseria by Nicholas Stefanelli a critically acclaimed, Southern Italian, fine dining restaurant in the Union Market District of Washington D.C. Required Qualifications:

*1 year of restaurant experience in a similar environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

*High School Diploma or equivalent 

What we expect from you

*Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Masseria

*Willingness to work and learn in a team environment 

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

*Strong communication skills

*Strive to present the best products 

Key Responsibilities:

*Assist front server with refilling guests’ glasses, getting food out in a timely manner

*Alert server about any information or changes relating to the guests

*Clear and reset tables as quickly as possible 

*Stock stations for silverware, glassware, napkins, share plates, placemats, and condiments 

*Pick up debris and clean spills 

*Taking and making known of guests’ special requests

*Removing any used plates/flatware

*Run food and beverages out to tables 

*Provide coffee, tea, and water service 

Physical Requirements:

*Ability to walk and stand for extended periods 

*Ability to lift up to 10 pounds 

*All employees are to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specifics will be provided)
