Are you an ambitious marketing professional with a real passion for food, drink and digital? We have a unique and great opportunity within our Customer Marketing Team for a divisionally aligned Marketing Planning Manager (Known internally as Divisional Planning Manager) on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

Our brands are split into four divisions – City, Premium, Pubs & Restaurants. As we continue to grow and develop our agenda, we are actively recruiting a Divisional Marketing Planning Manager to impact and execute the Brand, Divisional and portfolio marketing plans via digital communication channels. The fast moving digital landscape requires us to be agile and constantly adapting to how we shape and build our guest retention and acquisition strategy.


Within this role, you will support the conversion of brand plans into a Marcomms strategy, being considerate of the implementation, execution, and post evaluation to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. As well as developing and growing wider best practice of the use of digital channels, drawing on a deep understand of our guest, the commercial benefit and the industry insight through coaching and training professionals within our brand aligned teams.

What will I be doing?

  • Supporting our brand teams deliver their marketing plans across all marcomms channels.
  • Continuous improvement, refinement, evolution and advocacy of the ‘Planning’ process using the workflow management tools and embracing AI.
  • Updating the brand teams on the status of project workflow and helping to prioritise tasks through the development teams.
  • Delivering digital marketing activities end to end.
  • Working with the channel specialists to shape the brief and optimise the benefit to the brand teams.
  • Interpretation of brand strategies / tactical campaigns into implementation through the marketing mix [web, app, social, email etc].
  • Support the business to drive sales and volume through key dates and certain trading times.
  • Activate campaigns to drive frequency and new guest acquisition.
  • Using consumer digital performance, insight and trends to inform briefs and improve efficiency of workload to minimise effort and maximise returns
  • Maintaining a summary and analysis of all digital campaigns to help lead future marketing decisions
  • Continuous assessment of activity relevancy and return on investment.

 

What do I need?

Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll need...  

  • Experience in a marketing planning and/or marketing role
  • Ability to independently source supporting data and research from the various internal teams.
  • Experience of resource planning, prioritisation and scheduling of projects.
  • Agency, account management background is preferred.
  • Working collaboratively with broad range of agencies to brief and scope, QA execution of digital marketing activities.
  • An awareness of how digital fits within the overarching communications landscape.
  • Ability to work across a broad number of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation sand communication skills.
  • Previous experience of workflow and asset management tools preferred.
