An opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Personal Assistant (PA) that will see you responsible for providing a pro-active and comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our Commercial & Marketing Director. The remit of our Commercial & Marketing Director is broad and diverse; therefore, you will be required to adapt and be flexible to support them successfully.


This is a great opportunity for an experienced PA who is measured and focused with proven capability in inbox management, managing a busy diary, arranging travel, processing expenses, liaising with senior stakeholders, preparing for board meetings and presentations, organising conferences, and taking pride in playing an integral role working for our Commercial & Marketing Director and their direct reports.

The Opportunity – Personal Assistant


  • Carrying out administration and secretarial duties on behalf of the Commercial & Marketing Director, and their direct reports where required, including both proactive and reactive management of diaries, prioritisation of engagements and ensuring all necessary information is correct and up to date
  • Forward planning and organising on behalf of the Commercial & Marketing Director, understanding the business priorities to efficiently manage diaries, ensuring effective use of time
  • Acting as intermediary dealing with external calls and meeting requests
  • Owning the setup of meetings, booking rooms and arranging travel as required
  • Playing a key role in the organisation of internal conferences and Reward & Recognition events
  • Preparing materials as required for presentations:  PowerPoint slides, Excel spreadsheets, etc
  • Processing of expenses via Selenity
  • Providing assistance to internal and external stakeholders and visitors, ensuring that all visitors are welcomed in a professional and courteous manner



What do I need?


  • Prior and proven Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant experience, ideally within a large organisation at Director/Executive level
  • Confident communicator with strong levels of diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Strong IT skills (MS Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to be highly proactive and productive
  • Proven confidence with the ability to cope well under pressure and manage sensitive issues
  • Ability to judge a context, establish and build strong working relationships
  • A passion for your role and our industry
