We are really excited to offer this permanent opportunity as an Assistant Marketing Manager for our Toby Carvery brand within our Restaurants division. This brand is at a very exciting point in its evolution and are looking for an ambitious marketeer who can further develop and shape the future of this market leading brand.


In this diverse role you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurants Digital & Trading Marketing Manager with delivery of the annual marketing plan through CRM, social and all digital channels, evolving the proposition and driving brand engagement, new guest acquisition and existing guest frequency.  Your role will be mobile, focusing on our sites across the UK.

The Opportunity – Assistant Marketing Manager, Toby Carvery

  • Driving brand sales, profit and market share objectives in line with company ambition.
  • Helping to shape the brand’s digital strategy, and delivering the digital marketing plan to drive reach, awareness, engagement and conversion.
  • Implementing the trading and promotional plan to drive incremental sales and profit using a mix of owned and paid channels, via web, social and CRM.
  • Owning the Social Plan for the brand, working with our social media agency to create and curate engaging, brand-relevant content, including key date and brand-building campaigns, and influencer marketing.
  • Owning the Local Social media agenda for the brand, involving regular communication with the local social leads in our businesses to ensure timely and appropriate content that drives audience growth and engagement.
  • Owning the CRM Plan for the brand to drive sign ups, loyalty and frequency
  • Working with suppliers and partners to create successful digital activation plans drive awareness and maximise sales
  • Communicating effectively to the frontline via briefs and attendance at operational meetings and roadshows as required.


What you’ll need to bring to the Assistant Marketing Manager role: 

  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role is highly desirable, alongside 2 years + digital marketing experience
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and work at pace, whilst delivering excellent quality and commercial results
  • A passion for exciting and enthusing their audience and driving action through digital and social channels
  • Excellent attention to detail
