Our nurturance proposition is delivered through all our brand touchpoints and the marketing opportunity is to continue to build on the core food quality offer, and develop relevant innovation through food, drink and overall family experience to reach and acquire new audiences. An exciting ATL campaign budget and a strong investment pipeline, together with extensive opportunities to develop and grow our guest database and digital channel activity make this an attractive and exciting role for a creative and dynamic Assistant Marketing Manager to join the team.

As Assistant Marketing Manager, your role requires you to support the Marketing Manager with delivery of the annual marketing plan, evolving the proposition and to enhance the guest experience through food, drink and environment and ensuring the guest experience is best in class, whilst working closely with the operations team to ensure effective delivery in all restaurants.

Working within Toby Carvery brand marketing team, some key objectives in this role would be:

• Executing and supporting Toby Carvery’s immediate to mid-term strategy
• Delivering communication and promotional strategies and managing the budget accordingly
• Creatively evaluating consumer trends, market conditions, competitor information and implementing marketing strategy accordingly
• Driving the recruitment of new guests via engaging, dynamic local marketing, but also ensuring the retention of current guests
• Driving Toby’s profit, volume and market share objectives in line with company ambition
• Effectively managing supplier relationships, and agency partners including effective briefing, project management and the print and production process to deliver cost efficiencies.
• Building effective operational relationships and managing senior stakeholders to ensure flawless frontline delivery of campaigns and joint understanding our branded offer.
• Drive and executing communication strategies across multiple digital channels including Social Media, Content, PR and CRM strategy

Job Requirements

• Solid experience in Brand Marketing (Ideally minimum 1-2 years)
• Solid understanding of digital landscape
• Demonstrable track record on delivering consumer and audience engagement
• Deep understanding of brand management and development
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills -able to manage multiple projects
• A focus on delivery and flawless implementation
• A strategic and commercial attitude to sales and marketing
• Degree educated [preferably marketing discipline] or equivalent experience in brand marketing roles
• CIM qualifications highly desirable
